Uniconfort has adopted 4 beehives for a total of 2,000 bees thanks to the partnership with the 3BEE platform, an innovative initiative that promotes the adoption of beehives by companies and individuals to support beekeeping and the preservation of bees, which are fundamental to the balance of ecosystems. This partnership not only demonstrates a commitment to environmental protection, but also represents a significant step towards promoting biodiversity and the health of local ecosystems.
The beehives and bees adopted by Uniconfort through 3bee will actively contribute to the polynisation of plants in the surrounding region, playing a crucial role in food production and the preservation of the local flora. What does adopting a beehive involve?
3Bee adoption gives you the opportunity to remotely monitor one of 3BEE's hives, using your mobile phone or computer. These hives equipped with IoT sensors collect important biological parameters of the hive and transmit them online, allowing the beekeeper to monitor the health of the bees in real time.
Why does Uniconfort support this project?
Bees are extremely important for the balance of ecosystems and biodiversity thanks to their incessant pollination work. Unfortunately, they are experiencing unprecedented mortality in recent years due to pesticides, predators, climate change and an increasingly resource-poor environment. Supporting bees, whose health is monitored with 3BEE devices, and beekeepers, by encouraging good apiary management practices, can make a difference.
