Sustainability and the environment come first. In Uniconfort we continue to be committed to the fight against climate change and the reduction of CO2 emissions, also through new projects like this: "TREES x ZEROCARBON".
In Uniconfort we want to communicate in a concrete way our commitment to the sustainable development goals, in addition to our design, creation and installation of plants for the production of clean energy from renewable sources and the enhancement of agricultural and industrial process waste, also by donating a tree to our past, present and future customers.
These trees will be planted in various areas of the world in the Uniconfort forest, where every single tree will contribute to making the world greener and more sustainable, creating value for our planet and giving support to local communities.
Each tree will contribute to the absorption of CO2, which will be added to the CO2 saved by our biomass plants installed around the world.Perhaps it will seem obvious, but our biomass plants for the production of thermal or electrical energy contribute considerably to the reduction of CO2 emissions: just think that a biomass plant with a power of 1 MW thermal, in an hour allows you to save 270 kg of CO2 produced from fossil fuels (diesel, methane).
Have you already heard of Treedom
It is the digital platform that allows you to buy and plant trees remotely, thanks to a few clicks. All the trees purchased are then planted by farmers in the country indicated, and produce not only environmental but also social and economic benefits for the population that will follow them in their growth. Thanks to Treedom, you can monitor your tree and feel part of this great project in person: the tree is geolocated and its development can be followed thanks to the photos and various information that are published directly on the online page.
The "TREES x ZEROCARBON" project combines social sustainability with economic and environmental sustainability: the trees planted will guarantee food security, economic development and environmental protection in the countries where they will be planted, as well as absorb CO2. Now there are 12 Sustainable Development Goals SDGs set by the UN that we achieve with our projects!
