RE-USE OF WASTE
Unlike traditional fuels, which are fossil fuels and whose supply on our planet will run out sooner or later, biofuels are based on renewable energy sources.
Specifically, solid biomass, the fuel for Uniconfort boilers, is the renewable raw material obtained from the waste and residues of agricultural, zootechnical and forestry activities. Examples include firewood residues, agro-food industry processing waste, organic municipal waste, green branches from forestry and agricultural activities, seaweed and livestock waste, as these are materials of organic-vegetal origin from which energy can be produced.
Re-using waste from industrial and agricultural processes to produce heating and electrical energy is the new frontier. Uniconfort’s contribution intensifies regarding the circular economy for customers with a “zero waste’’ objective.
Thanks to the in-house research centre, it is possible to examine the customer’s waste and evaluate the project’s feasibility and its peculiarities. One of the company’s strengths is the ability to design specific systems for the customer while providing consolidated technical solutions.
